12- Days Bumthang Cultural Heartland

After breakfast, complete the immigration formalities and drive to Thimphu (4–5 hours). En route, enjoy the scenic mountain landscapes and stop at Chuzom, the confluence of the Thimphu and Paro rivers. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy an evening stroll through Thimphu town.

After breakfast, enjoy a full day exploring Thimphu. Visit the Buddha Dordenma Statue, Memorial Chorten, Tashichho Dzong, Motithang Takin Preserve, and other cultural attractions. In the evening, stroll through Thimphu town before returning to your hotel.

After breakfast, drive to Punakha via the scenic Dochula Pass. Visit the 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens, Chimi Lhakhang, and the magnificent Punakha Dzong before checking in to your hotel.

Festival day 2 : more cham dances by day; Mewang fire ceremony is typically one of the middle nights.

Day 3: Witness the Tercham (Naked Dance), a sacred ritual performed at midnight and regarded as one of the festival's signature ceremonies.

Bumthang – Phobjikha: After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to the beautiful Phobjikha Valley (approximately 6–7 hours). Enjoy the scenic journey through central Bhutan, with photo stops along the way. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax for the evening. Overnight stay in Phobjikha.

Phobjikha – Punakha: After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Punakha (approximately 3 hours). Upon arrival, visit the magnificent Punakha Dzong and Chimi Lhakhang (Fertility Temple). Later, check in to your hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Punakha.

Punakha – Paro: After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Paro (approximately 4–5 hours). En route, stop at Dochula Pass (3,100 m) to enjoy panoramic Himalayan views. Upon arrival, visit Kyichu Lhakhang and stroll through Paro town before checking in to your hotel. Overnight stay in Paro.

Paro – Tiger's Nest Hike: After breakfast, embark on a hike to the iconic Tiger's Nest Monastery (Taktsang), Bhutan's most famous sacred site. After descending, enjoy lunch and, if time permits, explore Paro town before returning to your hotel. Overnight stay in Paro.

Paro – Phuentsholing: After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Phuentsholing (approximately 5–6 hours). Enjoy the scenic journey through Bhutan's lush valleys and mountain roads. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.
