8 days - Festival Tour - Paro Tsechu

Arrive at Paro International Airport, where you will be warmly welcomed by our representative. After completing arrival formalities, transfer to hotel. Attend evening preparations for the festival. Meet your guide who will explain the significance of the Tsechu.

Full day at Paro Tsechu festival. Witness masked cham dances performed by monks. See the unfurling of the giant Thangka (Throngdrel). Join locals in celebration.

After experiencing the vibrant Paro Festival, enjoy a scenic drive to Thimphu, Bhutan's capital city. The journey takes around 1 hours and offers beautiful views of valleys and rivers. Upon arrival, explore Thimphu's cultural landmarks, visit its lively markets, and experience the unique blend of traditional Bhutanese heritage and modern life before settling into your hotel for the night.

Enjoy a full day exploring Thimphu, the vibrant capital of Bhutan. Visit the majestic Buddha Dordenma, the Memorial Chorten, Tashichho Dzong, the Motithang Takin Preserve, and the Folk Heritage Museum. Stroll through the local handicraft markets, experience Bhutanese culture and cuisine, and enjoy the lively atmosphere of Thimphu before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to the picturesque Punakha Valley via the scenic Dochula Pass (3,100m), where you can enjoy panoramic views of the Himalayas. En route, visit the 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens before continuing to Punakha. Explore the beautiful Punakha Dzong and take a short hike to Chimi Lhakhang, the famous Fertility Temple. After sightseeing, check in to your hotel and enjoy an overnight stay in Punakha.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to the beautiful Paro Valley. Upon arrival, visit the National Museum, explore the historic Paro Rinpung Dzong, and visit the sacred Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan's oldest temples. Stroll through Paro town, enjoy the charming atmosphere, and later check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, embark on a memorable hike to the iconic Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest), one of Bhutan's most sacred and breathtaking landmarks, perched dramatically on a cliff at 3,120 metres above sea level. Enjoy spectacular views and the serene atmosphere before descending to the valley. Spend the remainder of the day exploring Paro town or relaxing at your hotel for an overnight stay in Paro.

After breakfast, you will be driven to Paro international airport for your onward flight. Our representative will see you off.
